About Us

The Training Center is a working farm in beautiful Bourbon County. Vergil Holland has been farming and training stock dogs, as well as competitive trialing for most of his life. His book 'Herding Dogs: Progressive Training' is considered to be one of the definitive texts in the field. Border collies are used on a daily basis in all aspects of the operations which currently includes 600 head of Texel, Tunis, Katahdin and commercial sheep, 110 steers that were raised from the bottle and our newest venture - pigs!
