Agribusiness Association seeks scholarship applications
Special to Kentucky Agricultural News
FRANKFORT, Ky. - The AgriBusiness Association of Kentucky’s scholarship program provides funding for undergraduate students from Kentucky who major in agriculture or any other agriculture-related field.
The scholarship program was established in 1996 to recognize Kentucky students and help them afford the cost of a postsecondary education. Students may apply for the ABAK scholarship if they are either graduating from high school or currently enrolled in a university, college, technical school, or community college.
ABAK offers a total of four scholarships in the amount of $1,000 per school year. Two of these scholarships are awarded from the Buena S. Bond Memorial Scholarship Fund, established by the Kentucky Feed and Grain Association. The scholarships are judged on merit as well as financial need. Past recipients of the ABAK Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
Applicants must mail the application with all supporting documents to the below address on or before the postmark deadline of May 15, 2015.
