What
is e-Commerce and why do I need it?
E-Commerce (or electronic commerce) is the process
of selling your goods and services electronically.
A typical scenario is one where a consumer visits
a web page, finds a product they like, and then
clicks a button to buy. The process then involves
entering their credit card and shipping information,
and having the product sent to them. E-Commerce
can take many different forms, but the one I have
just described happens on the Internet millions
of times everyday.
Why
do I need it?
Customer service is the key to any business success!
By offering your customers the ability to purchase
products on their time, they can purchase products
24 hours a day year round. Online retail sales over
the Internet have continued to climb and consumers
today are more inclined to use the convenience of
purchasing online.
What
if I sell my products directly from my own web site?
Great! You obviously understand the benefit of offering
your customers another marketing channel from where
to purchase your products. During Step 5 of the
web building process, you will be asked to upload
images of your products. At the same time, you will
be provided a check box to designate your site as
the place to buy products. Simply type in the appropriate
website address where they can be found and that's
it! A new buy button will appear on your web page
right next to your product!
What
if I sell my products through another web site?
No problem. Just follow the same procedures as above
and give us the address where your products are
sold. The same buy button will appear on your page
and can go to your other e-commerce site.
How
do I add these features to my page?
During Step 5 of the web building process, you will

Do
I have to use pictures to add the E-Commerce function?
Yes. The use of pictures adds so much to your web
page! Users can actually see your products with
a description of each one. Give your customers another
