Kentucky Smokin' Grill

Kentucky's Smokin' Grill

Dave & David's Not So Fast but Easy BBQ

You'll need:

Approx 4 to 5 pounds roast

1 18 oz. jar Kentucky Smokin' Grill Sauce

Put thawed pork, chicken, turkey, beef or wild game in a crock pot on medium heat, approximately 180 degrees.  Add a 1/2 cup of water to the pot.   Slow cook until the bones can be removed from meat easily.  A thawed roast can be started at 8:00 A.M., and be done at 5:00 P.M.  Remove bones, drain fat, reserving some of the juice.  Add Kentucky Smokin' Grill Sauce while stirring with a fork.  If BBQ seems too dry, add the reserved juice until you have the desired texture.  We use Boston Butt pork roast.  A prime cut of meat is not recommended for slow cook BBQ.
