"The Salsa Sisters"

McDowell Farms Meatloaf

You'll need:

2 lbs. ground chuck

2 eggs

3/4 cup cracker crumbs or oats

1 jar of your favorite McDowell Farms Salsa

1/2 cup ketchup

salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients and form into a loaf.  Cover with additional ketchup.  Bake at 350 degrees for about one hour.  (Available as a feature item at Main Street Cafe in Augusta, KY.)

McDowell Farms Chicken

You'll need:

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1/2 jar of your favorite McDowell Farms Salsa

salt and pepper to taste

Cheese slices (your favorite--we prefer Swiss.)

Place chicken breast in baking dish.  Cover chicken with salsa.  Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.  During the last 5 minutes of baking time, place a slice of your favorite cheese on each chicken breast and allow to melt.  YUM!!!
