You'll need: 1 large bunch of Kentucky Proud leafy green lettuce, torn 1/2 cup chopped Kentucky Proud green onion 1 Kentucky Proud egg, beaten 4 tablespoons sugar 1/2 cup red wine vinegar 1/2 cup water 8 slices Kentucky Proud country bacon Toss lettuce and onions together in a serving bowl. In a separate bowl, mix egg, sugar, vinegar and water. Set aside. Fry bacon until crisp. Crumble and set aside. Pour off half the bacon grease in the skillet. To the remainder, add egg mixture and cook over medium heat until thickened. Right before serving, pour hot mixture over lettuce and add crumbled bacon. Toss twice and serve immediately. Yields 6 servings.
