Furniture & Supply Trade Mission
to FMC Premium Shanghai 2012

The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and its state partners invite companies to the leading international exhibition in China for furniture, furniture components, wood products, lumber, and woodworking equipment.
- Participating companies receive pre-arranged, branded pavilion space.
- All export-ready firms from states within Appalachia are welcome.
- Subsidies for companies from Appalachia increase the value.
The ARC Pavilion will be located in the Shanghai Expo Theme Pavilion with shuttle buses available to the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre where Furniture China 2012 will be concurrently held. This will give exhibitors and visitors a rare opportunity to interact with a full spectrum of furniture-related companies.
The following options are available for participating companies from the Appalachian region:
- $1950.00 for a 10 square meter booth
- $1250.00 for a 6.7 square meter booth
- $3000.00 for a 16.75 square meter booth
Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For non-ARC affiliated companies a price of $450.00 per square meter will be required.

Expo ANTAD 2012

The Kentucky Agricultural and Commercial Trade Office (KACTO), in conjunction with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, invites Kentucky companies to participate at Expo ANTAD 2012.
This international trade show gather representatives and decision makers from supermarkets and specialty stores from over thirty countries and hosts an average of 35,000 visitors each year. In 2011, the event generated over $850 million in sales.
The main categories of exhibited products of interest to agriculture-related companies are groceries, processed foods and fresh products.
KACTO will provide free exhibit space in a shared 12.25 square meter booth at the show and will also help with logistics. KACTO will also coordinate a Blue Key for participating companies, which is a free, customized business agenda that introduces Kentucky companies to interested buyers and partners in the market. Companies are responsible for their own travel expenses (including flights, hotel accomodations, meals, and ground transportation) and shipment of marketing materials and product samples. Hot Market Watch
Selling to: Brazil, China, South Korea & Vietnam/ASEAN

"Hot Market Watch" will take place Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Export Assistance Center in Cincinnati, and hosted by the Xavier University Williams College of Business and the Southern Ohio District Export Council (SODEC), the conference is in its sixth year.
This year's conference will focus on the "hot markets" of Brazil, China, South Korea, and the ASEAN region and will provide market updates, tools, and resources for U.S. companies interested in selling to or expanding further into these markets.
Presenters will include U.S. Departmet of Commerce international trade experts from the U.S. Commercial Service, Market Access and Compliance, and the China Business Information Center. Other invited experts from the federal government include representatives from the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the Small Business Administration, and the Federal Reserve. International organizations and companies, both large and small, will also be on hand to share their experience and expertise in these markets.
A networking reception will be held the evening before the conference to showcase our exhibitors and partner organizations. It will also allow for networking among our presenters and conference attendees. The reception is included in the costs for full-conference registration.
