USDA Rural Economic Development Grant

Overview:

Provides grant funds to electric and telephone utilities financed by the Utilities Programs, an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture, to promote sustainable rural economic development and job creation projects through the operation of a revolving loan fund program.

Eligible Applicants:

Grants can be made, at the discretion of the Administrator of the Business and Cooperative Programs (BCP), to any Utility Programs electric or telephone utility that is not delinquent on any Federal debt or in bankruptcy proceedings.

Deadline:

Applications may be filed on any official workday at any Rural Development State Office.
