Pasteurization Short Course set for Feb. 16-17 in Winchester

The Dairy Products Association of Kentucky will present a Pasteurization Short Course Feb. 16-17 at the Winchester Farms Dairy in Winchester.
The course will trace the flow of milk through the pasteurization equipment, explaining the function and public health significance of each process. The course will include a tour of Winchester Farms Dairy, focusing on pasteurization equipment testing. Classroom work will begin at 1 p.m. EST on Feb. 16 and 8 a.m. on Feb. 17. The course will conclude with a hands-on exercise the afternoon of Feb. 17.
Registration deadline is Feb. 9. Registration will be limited to 45 attendees. The cost is $125 per person.
