The information collected above assists the State Apiarist in knowing where beekeepers are located and how many hives are managed in Kentucky. This helps better serve the state�s beekeepers. The State Apiarist sometimes receive swarm calls from all over Kentucky, and will pass these calls onto local beekeepers if possible.
