The Division of Information Technology's mission is to provide technology systems and infrastructure which will  enable KDA employees to perform their duties in the most effective and efficient manner possible.

The Division’s goal is to keep all KDA employees updated with the latest equipment and software as much as possible.  We have enabled field solutions and technology for mobile inspections.  We are currently working on application development in the areas of animal testing, premise id, KY Proud products, and pesticides certification and registration.

As the internet plays a major role in most people’s lives, we strive to keep our award-winning website updated with the latest agricultural-related information as well as integrate more and more Department applications into the website.

Due to the fast pace of changes in technology, our goal is to keep pace through combining education and experience and to maintain a highly motivated, trained IT staff.
