Blue Skink Farm CSA* Grows organically certified veggies for members of the farm while maintaining sustainable organic farming practices. Consumers known as share members, provide enough money in early spring to meet a farm's operating expenses for the upcoming season. In exchange the members receive a share of the farm's produce each week throughout the growing season. A weekly share consists of a variety of fresh veggies with an average value of over $15/week. Members also receive 'From Asparagus to Zuccini' a cookbook guide filled with recipes, profiles and history of each vegetable, CSA info, and tips on storing and processing seasonal produce. Plus a monthly newsletter, and two waxed vegetable cartons. Harvests are put together each week by the farmer, with attention to each member's preferences, and placed in waxed veggie cartons for delivery.
