This condiment has both the rich taste and history expected of a unique Memphis style Barbeque sauce.

Dr. Raymond D. Sanders(1909-1978) was born and reared in Rosemark, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Medical School in 1936. Dr. Sanders moved into Whitley County to practice general medicine. While living in Williamsburg Kentucky, Dr. Sanders perfected his childhood passion for barbeque in the Memphis style. Out of forty years of testing and barbequing for his family and community came a recipe that his son now captures for you. Only the finest of ingredients go into the making of this rich and tangy tomato-based sauce with the unmistakable flavors of chili and paprika peppers. This sauce loves to be smoked over coals or wood chips when used as a baste. Ray recommends his father's BBQ sauce for chicken and especially for pork.
