R & K Farm is family owned and operated. We have a small herd of Fullblood, purebred and percentage Boer goats. Our Sire bloodlines include: .38 Special, Eggsfile,Mufasa, Headliner and Classic, Wolfman,
We are active in the community, supporting 4-H,. We have shown 4-H market and breeding project goats for the last several years. My son and daughter have been awarded the following titles/places:GREENUP CO.FAIR 2002 Reserve Champ Market goat, Best rate of gain,Best bred/ raised Market goat, Best bred/raised breeding doe, 1st in class market goat 2003 Grand Champ Market goat, 1st in class market goat, Best rate of gain, 2004 Reserve Grand Champ market goat, 1st in class market goat, Grand Champ breeding doe, 1st in class breeding and 3rd breeding doe, Best born/raised market goat, Best bred/owned breeding doe, Best born/raised breeding doe. We also sell club kids.
Our soapmaking started as a 7th grade science project and has turned into a promising alternative farm income for our future. All our soaps are made by the cold process method and cured for a minimum of four weeks.
