STOCKYARDS AND DEALERS

The Office of State Veterinarian administers and enforces the licensure of Stockyards, Buying Stations, Livestock Dealers, and Approved Horse Sales:

• Stockyards, Buying Stations, and Approved Horse Sales must renew licensure annually with approval by June 30th of each year
• Livestock Dealers must renew licensure by December 31st of each year
• Stockyards, Buying Stations, and Livestock Dealers must be registered with the USDA Grain Inspection, Packers & Stockyards Administration (GIPSA)
