AERIAL RECREATIONAL DEVICES
Program Effective Date: July 1, 2018
This program provides for the inspection of all aerial recreational devices to ensure the safety of the equipment. This includes, devices to simulate rock climbing, beams, bridges, cable traverses, climbing walls, nets, platforms, ropes, swings, towers, zip lines, or jump systems that are installed on or in trees, poles, portable structures, buildings, or that are a part of a self-supporting structure, and canopy tours. Each company/operator must submit an annual application, insurance, itinerary, qualified third party inspection, and payment of required fees in order to operate and comply with state laws.
