Sunshine class
The Sunshine Class offers an opportunity for individuals with special needs to work in a show ring at the Kentucky State Fair. Working with a mentor, the exhibitor will show the animal and at the end, all are presented with a championship banner.
This program provides the opportunity for special needs youth to get hands-on experience with parts of the agriculture industry. The Sunshine classes have been offered at the Kentucky State Fair for the past two years.

The Sunshine Class offers an opportunity for individuals with special needs to work in a show ring at the KY Proud Livestock Classic. Working with a trained mentor, the exhibitor will show the animal and at the end, all are presented with a championship banner. This program provides the opportunity for individuals with special needs to get hands-on experience with parts of the agriculture industry. The KY Proud Livestock Classic is a new event debuting in 2025. This will be the inaugural Sunshine Class with many to follow!
