Special to Kentucky Agricultural News

LEXINGTON, Ky. The Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show returns to Rupp Arena and Lexington Center on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Now in its fifth year, the Incredible Food Show is a full day of cooking demonstrations, food sampling and educational opportunities for the home chef.

Featured at this years show will be Jamie and Bobby Deen. Jamie and Bobby can be seen on the Food Network and the Cooking Channel. The Deen Brothers will serve up two cooking presentations in Rupp Arena at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Deen Brothers, along with their mother, Paula Deen, founded a small Savannah, Georgia catering business known for delivering lunch and love in a bag, which grew into one of Savannahs most loved restaurants, The Lady & Sons. The Deen Brothers have published four cookbooks together, and Bobbys cookbook From Mamas Table to Mine debuted at No. 1 on The New York Times Best Seller list. In September, Jamie will release a new cookbook entitled "Jamie Deens Good Food."

A big draw to the show each year is The Marketplace, which includes more than 120 exhibitors. The Marketplace brings local food based companies together under one roof to showcase and sell their products directly to the consumer. In addition to the exhibitors, The Marketplace features a Kentucky Wineries area, Restaurant Row, Kids Craft Caf and, new to last years show, the hugely popular Quick Tips Booth.

Sullivan University returns to the stage with creative and informative demonstrations throughout the day featuring locally sourced ingredients and regional chefs. The popular seminar series will return with topics that will pique the interest of aspiring home chefs and food lovers.

We are looking forward to being part of the fifth annual Incredible Food Show," Agriculture Commissioner James Comer said. The IFS is a wonderful opportunity to connect Kentucky Proud members with consumers, buyers, chefs, and anyone whos interested in local food. This has become the biggest event of the year for Kentucky food lovers and a great way to meet with a wide variety of producers, retailers, restaurants, and wineries all under one roof!

Tickets go on sale June 7 at the Lexington Center Ticket Office, Ticketmaster.com, and all Ticketmaster Outlets.
