Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner James Comer hailed a banner year for Kentucky agriculture and laid out a vision of effective government that works with the private sector in his annual State of Kentucky Agriculture address during the Commodity Luncheon at Kentucky Farm Bureau’s 94th Annual Meeting in Louisville.

Comer joins request for hemp guidance

Kentucky farmers should be permitted to grow industrial hemp under existing federal and state law, Agriculture Commissioner James Comer and other Kentucky leaders wrote in a letter to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
