The “Rise and Shine Burger”
Local wagyu beef mixed with local ground round topped with local cheddar cheese a local fried egg, hashbrown, and a maple dijon dressing on a toasted brioche bun.
Kelsey states: “Thank y’all so much for this great project. The kids really enjoyed it, and it gave them so much insight into what it means to the local economy to plan meals this way. All are Kentucky products. We sourced mostly from Lexington because we visited the Bluegrass Stockyard and went to Critchfield Market after!”

The “River City Deluxe BBQ Burger”
A quarter pound of beef from McCracken County, expertly grilled and seasoned, is layered with gooey pepper-jack cheese, a generous portion of Starnes' smoky pork barbecue, zesty barbecue sauce, homemade spicy pickles, and a mound of sweet mustard coleslaw, all nestled between two slices of toasted, freshly baked Kirchhoff's bread.
