Guffey named to FFA post

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Dr. Kristie Broadbent Guffey has accepted the position of Agricultural Education Program Consultant/Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center Director, Kentucky FFA has announced. Guffey will officially begin her duties on Feb. 1.

Guffey has been involved in agricultural education on multiple levels since first taking agricultural education classes and joining FFA at Trigg County High School. She later served as Kentucky FFA State President in 1996-1997. She attended FFA Camp as a member, state officer, staff member, advisor, and teacher educator.

Guffey teaches agriculture at Western Kentucky University's Glasgow Campus. She began her teaching career at Carlisle County High School.
