Additional overtime charge of $60/hr with a minimum of 2 hours apply for mares arriving on weekends or between 5:01pm and 6:59am. Overtime charge of $120/hr with a minimum of 2 hours apply for mares arriving on state recognized holidays. Requirements: Application (typically VS Form 17-129) submitted by equine import broker. Inspection of facility by KDA Personnel and completed Import agreement signed by agent of quarantine facility. Completion by approved veterinarian of all prescribed testing and treatment listed on CEM Worksheet, Palpation letter signed by veterinarian (these documents are issued along with Notice of Quarantine).
