Sunflower Sundries is a small farm based business making various and sundry items such as soap, jam, mustard, pickles and cornmeal. We have never used chemicals in our farming and use practices that encourage biodiversity. We use centuries old techniques and traditional recipes for very fine products. We produce 1600 bar batches of soap that we wholesale nationally. Many fine stores in Kentucky and elsewhere sell our soap. We make our jam from locally grown unsprayed fruit and sugar, using no added pectin, resulting in a highly fruit flavored jam. Our mustards are made from fresh whole seed ground and mixed with fine wine vinegars and local honey for a spicy condiment of many uses. Our pickles are made using locally grown unsprayed asparagus and okra and a brine of white balsamic vinegar. The cornmeal and grits are from Hickory King corn, an heirloom white corn grain, ground fresh on our own mill, and dated for freshness.

We are a small locally minded farm interested in putting people first in our business. We use much hand labor, all our soap is wrapped by hand by people in their homes. We only use locally grown fruit in our jams, and locally produced honey, sorghum and maple syrup in our mustards. We sell directly to the public by mail, on-line, at various festivals and on the farm.
