At Celtic Cross Farm, our goal is to create a genuine beef product in a safe environment with minimal stress using high quality forages. Our cattle are grazed on lush natural pastures and offered high quality limestone water in the heart of south central Kentucky. We strive to make a product that has a fresh taste, free of sub-therapeutic antibiotics, growth promotants, and hormones. This will result in a USDA graded product that excels with a high degree of marbling and unmatched quality. So if you are looking for a new age beef product in a post-modern world from a superior herd with high quality genetics, look to Celtic Cross Farm. We are “Naturally Agricultural”.
Our Family
Moving to Kentucky in 2011 from Indiana brought many new and exciting changes to our family. The move enabled Tom to take a position at Western Kentucky University and Becky to leave the corporate world to raise the children and establish the farm.
Tom grew up on a diversified livestock and grain farm in central Indiana. He was a ten year 4-H member and FFA member in high school. Upon Graduating high school, he completed his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Education from Purdue University. Tom then started his 17 year career in agricultural education in the public school system. He later attained his graduate degrees from Indiana Wesleyan, Texas A&M and Texas Tech Universities.
Becky grew up in Southern California and was heavily involved in 4-H and FFA. She attended Fresno State University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science. Becky then pursued a career in food industry in the quality field. She now is a full-time stay at home mom and caretaker of the farm.
Tom & Becky have been married for 7 years and have three children. They use the farm as a learning laboratory to instill a solid work ethic in their children and to teach them responsibility. They also encourage them to respect the environment and the animals they raise.
