Online Searchable Database with over 75,000 products and services
Fastline began in 1978 when Bill Howard, our publisher, made the decision to leave his family's publishing business to start a truck publication serving Kentucky. The first issue of the Bluegrass Trucker (originally called the Kentucky Truck Trader) was mailed in July 1978.
In just three years we grew to five publications. The response from the advertisers and readers indicated strong interest and support.
We started looking for other industries to serve with our style of trade publication. In 1985, we purchased the Ohio Fastline and the Indiana Fastline, two farm trade publications which had similar formats to our truck publications. These were the first of many farm trade publications that we would start under the name of Fastline Publications.
In 1996 we purchased a commercial printing company, MCW Graphics, giving us the capability to print our Fastline magazines. We also purchased Airlanse Travel. We continue to grow and now have twenty-nine magazines, which brings us to twenty-one farm publications and eight truck publications.
We are pleased to be on the World Wide Web, making contact with us a breeze and puting useful information on equipment in the farming and trucking industry at your fingertips.
Continuing our dedication of serving our customers, January 1, 1999 we launched Fastline Finder, a searchable database of all the equipment in all of the current editions of Fastline, updated daily.
We are located north of Louisville Kentucky. Take Interstate 71 North to the Buckner Exit. At the end of the ramp turn Left. 1/4 mile down on the left you'll see a Thorton's gas station, turn left next to Thorton's on Fox Run Road. We are located in the first two buildings on the right.
