The goal of the Technical Support Programs is to help protect groundwater, surface water and land resources through voluntary, locally driven initiatives and address the concern of individuals and maintain a focus on realistic solutions and the financial and technical constraints which drive everyday decisions.
The Technical Support Branch develops pesticide environmental strategies and programs that are designed to protect the land and water of the Commonwealth from agriculture pesticide use through best management practices (BMPs).
