Agriculture Education and Outreach
Agriculture education improves agriculture literacy by developing programs increasing consumer, educator and student awareness about agriculture. Farm Safety increases safety awareness and provides educational resources and training to ensure the safety of farmers and their families. Farmland Preservation allows the state to purchase agriculture conservation easements in order to ensure that land currently in agriculture-use will continue to remain available for agriculture and will not be converted to other uses.
