Congratulations to the winners
in the
2011 Farm to School Week Art Contest!
Students from throughout Kentucky submitted entries forthe first Kentucky Farm to School Art Week Contest. The theme was "Let's grow healthy the Kentucky Proud way!" First-place entries in each division won $50, second-place entries won $30, and third-place entries won $20. The winners and runners-up were:
Elementary school winner - William Carnal, Campbellsburg Elementary
Elementary school runner-up - Olivia Thompson, Early Learning Village East, Frankfort
Middle school winner - Jackson Cromer, Rockcastle County Middle
Middle school runner-up - Janet Drake, Woodford County Middle
High school winner - Kristian Little, Paul Laurence Dunbar/Locust Trace Agriscience Farm, Lexington
High School Runner-up - Lauren Coffey, Metcalfe County High School
