2010 CONTEST RULES & INFORMATION

We have a new format for this year's contest!!!!!!!

· Entries are open to all grades K-12 producing 13 winners, one from each grade.
· One grade entry will receive a best in show which will appear on the cover of the calendar. The remaining 12 will represent the months for the calendar pages.
· Each poster will be accompanied by a description essay representing the theme of 150 words or less to be printed in the calendar. Each entry will have to have the writing to be eligible.
· Calendars will be printed in traditional flip style for the 2011 year, accompanied by their essay and Kentucky Proud Recipes.
· We will also include KY Proud information on the calendar pages and insert resources in the front and back that teachers can use to include Kentucky agriculture in the classroom.

 

 

Deadline for entries will be February 05, 2010. Winners will be announced February 12, 2010 and honored at an Ag Day Celebration lunch March 9, 2010 at the Kentucky History Center in Frankfort, KY.
