Hay Hotline

Due to adequate rainfall in most areas of Kentucky this year we do not anticipate the need for a hay hotline this season. If you are in need of hay, please browse the For Sale Website; there you can search by bale, county or type of hay.  The Department of Agriculture strongly promotes and supports Kentucky Producers and Consumers.

If conditions change we will resume the hay hotline information. If you would like to list hay on the hotline you may call Donna Baker at 502-564-4983 to be put on our list. We will post sellers that call our hotline as we begin collecting information. Producers that have had their hay tested by KDA will still be listed on the (Tested Hay) part of our website.

KDA makes no guarantees or claims to the quality, price, or nutritional value of hay and forages submitted through the hay hotline. Producers and brokers with hay for sale will be listed below as we collect information through the hotline. KDA suggest that any hay purchased be tested for quality and protein.
