Ale-8-One quenches thirsts in Kentucky and beyond

Agriculture Commissioner James Comer grew up drinking Ale-8-One in his native Monroe County. He said he also “loves” spicy Ale-8-One salsa made from Kentucky-grown tomatoes and peppers. Kentucky wineries crowd the medal stand at the Indy International Wine Competition

While Kentuckians were competing for medals across the pond, several Kentucky wineries brought a hefty haul of hardware home from across the Ohio River at the Indy International Wine Competition Aug. 1-3 in Indianapolis.

New law benefits Kentucky agritourism destinations

Abraham to represent Kentucky in national seafood contest

Chef Erik Abraham of Varanese Restaurant in Louisville is honored by Angela Caporelli, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture's aquaculture marketing specialist, as the winner of the 2012 Great Kentucky Seafood Cook Off in July. Abraham will compete against more than a dozen top seafood chefs from throughout the United States in the Great American Seafood Cook Off on Aug. 11 in New Orleans.

Bob Shrader and Matt Hilton, producers and hosts of the show, attended the 48th Annual Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards to accept the award for Best Magazine Feature/Segment.
