Using the Kentucky Proud logo

A registered service mark: Kentucky Proud is a registered service mark of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. The logo promotes Kentucky producers and their quality products that are grown, processed or hand-crafted here in the Commonwealth.

How to become a Kentucky Proud participant: Click here for full details about becoming a Kentucky Proud producer. There is no cost to apply. You are required to offer quality, home-grown or home-processed products. Important benefits of becoming an official Kentucky Proud participant are that advertising, promotional and marketing efforts direct consumers to look for products with this logo.

Permitted uses of the logo: Producers must submit an application and become an official participant of Kentucky Proud in order to use the logo. The Kentucky Department of Agriculture reserves the right to pursue legal action to enforce this registered service mark for unauthorized use.

The Kentucky Proud logo is distinguished by a cardinal in flight in the upper left, with right "swoosh" border in green, lower left "swoosh" border in blue. "Kentucky" is in blue and "Proud" is in green.

The exact Pantone colors, terms that will be understood by any professional printer, are as follows: Red, Pantone #187; Green, Pantone #357; Blue, Pantone #294.

The logo may be used by the news media, advertisers and retailers as long as the logo directly relates to Kentucky Proud producers or products.
