| The Division of Agriculture Marketing and Agribusiness Recruitment works with agriculture parties showing an interest in locating in Kentucky. While working with these companies we will assist them in property location, financing, and tax incentive programs. We also work with businesses wishing to expand by assisting them in the process of locating financial assistance. |

| The department keeps a close relatinship with the Governor's Office of Agriculture Policy and the Office of Economic Development in order to keep up-to-date grants and loan availability to agriculture businesses locating or expanding in Kentucky. |

| It is the divisions' goal to attract agriculture companies to our state. We must remain aggressive in helping existing companies grow and expand as well as attract new companies. Providing state tax incentives that encourage employers to invest in this community rather than expanding operations or locating elswhere is one important way we can achieve this goal. |
