Horse club organizational meeting set

Horse enthusiasts are encouraged to attend a meeting to discuss formation of the Central Kentucky Horse Club Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. EDT at the Harrison County Cooperative Extension Service office.

 

Participants will discuss trail rides, camping, showing, nutrition, forage, tack and other equine topics. The club is open to owners of any breed in any county.

 

The Bourbon County and Harrison County Extension offices will host five sessions of “Horse College” this fall for interested participants. The program is based on the “Master Cattleman Course” format and will cover numerous subjects related to equine.
