Ag Credit announces promotion, election

James L. May of Waynesville has been re-elected to a second four-year term on the AgFirst Farm Credit Board of Directors in Columbia, S.C., the Central Kentucky Agricultural Credit Association has announced. Donna Mudd of Washington County has been promoted to controller of the Central Kentucky Agricultural Credit Association at its administrative office in Lexington.

 

May is chairman of the Central Kentucky Ag Credit Board of Directors, on which he has served since 1990. He is the only Kentuckian on the board of AgFirst, which provides funding and financial services to 22 agricultural credit associations in 15 states and Puerto Rico. May owns and operates Mayhaven Farm and Mayhaven Farm Seed Sales in Lincoln County.

 

Mudd’s role with Ag Credit as Controller will include supervision and involvement in all internal and operations audits.  Before being named controller, she served as assistant controller for the past five years and worked at Ag Credit’s Lebanon branch for 10 years.

 

Ag Credit is a multi-million dollar lender that serves hundreds of borrowers in 17 central Kentucky counties.
