Frankfort students take an Agriculture Adventure

KAN staff report

Students at Second Street Elementary School in Frankfort watched and participated in the "Agriculture Adventures" program Feb. 27. "Chef Parmesan" hosted "Lunch Room Live" in which he showed students that pizza ingredients all come from the farm. Students then ground wheat, milked a fiberglass cow and performed other farming-related tasks. The Kentucky Department of Agriculture, a co-sponsor of "Agriculture Adventures," hopes to revive the program in the fall.
