Race for Education offers scholarship for winning T-shirt design

The Race for Education is seeking entries for a contest to design the T-shirt for its annual 5K/10K run Oct. 10.
The overall size of the artwork should be no more than 14 x 14 inches. The winning design wil be reproduced and printed by a four-color process that must include Pantone Color #484 and the RFE logo. The signed entry form must be attached to each entry.

The designer of the winning entry will receive a $500 scholarship to be paid directly to his or her school, five T-shirts and recognition. The award scholarship may be given to a family member or friend to assist with tuition costs.
Entries may be dropped off at RFE offices at 1818 Versailles Road, Lexington, on Aug. 31 or Sept. 1 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or may be submitted by mail.
The Race for Education
enables children of low-income equine industry families, as well as children who want to pursue an equine-related career, to obtain a college degree by providing tuition support; financial literacy training to help students minimize their debt load; mentoring services to provide students with emotional support; and assistance in finding career-related internships during college and permanent jobs upon graduation.
