Why am I Kentucky Proud? Well, I have many reasons. The first reason is that I choose to purchase Kentucky Proud products from my local grocery store and farmers’ market. I am glad that the food I buy is fresh and not shipped from far away. Another reason I am Kentucky Proud is that buying local helps the farmers in Kentucky stay in business. Buying local also makes me feel proud to know that I am helping the farmers of Kentucky. If I didn’t buy Kentucky Proud products I would not know where the products come from, how long they have been on the shelf or what farmer I am helping support. On the other hand, when I buy Kentucky Proud items I know all these things. Helping the farmers of Kentucky makes a difference to me and that is why I am Kentucky Proud!
