CHEF DEMONSTRATES LAMB PREPARATION
AT SHEEP AND WOOL PRODUCERS MEETING
FRANKFORT, Ky. — Ouita Michel, executive chef at Holly Hill Inn in Midway, will give a demonstration of preparing lamb dishes for the holidays at the Kentucky Sheep and Wool Producers Association annual meeting Oct. 27 at the Clark County Extension Office in Winchester.
“I want to try to show that lamb is really versatile and you don’t have to spend $15 a pound on a rack of lamb to enjoy lamb,” Michel said.
Kristy Sturgill of Kristy’s Kreations in Nicholasville will give a wool felting demonstration and workshop.
The public is invited. All activities are free to association members and their families. Nonmembers must pay a pre-registration fee of $10 that covers lunch (lamb, of course). Part of the fee will go to youth sheep programs.
