FRANKFORT (April 9, 2021) – After the Scott County Circuit Court ruling today, Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles released the following statement:

"Today, the Scott County Circuit Court invalidated executive orders from Governor Beshear against small businesses and restaurants. This ruling is welcome news to the owners and workers who have sat at their kitchen tables for the last year, struggling to pay their bills and keep up with haphazard guidance from the Governor. I support our small business owners as they take action to force the Governor to do what he should have done weeks ago: reopen Kentucky.”
