Agriculture Education and Outreach

AG education improves AG literacy by developing programs increasing consumer, educator and student awareness about agriculture. Farm Safety increases safety awareness and provides educational resources and training to ensure the safety of farmers and their families. Farmland Preservation allows the state to purchase AG conservation easements in order to ensure that land currently in AG-use will continue to remain available for agriculture and will not be converted to other uses.
